Goat Farms in Texas for Muslims

...just this year, my pastor finally picked up on praying through Ramadan ---but then he had to fly to Texas to visit with his father and noticed something very interesting.
He grew up in Texas and was very excited about seeing all the large cattle ranges, spread out over the countryside...what he saw was acres and acres of GOAT FARMS...a couple of days into his trip, he finally asked, "What happened to all the cattle?". The response was, "there is much more money per acre from the goats!". He inquired further, "WHY? Who drinks that much goat milk!" Overwhelmingly, the response was, "It is not for the milk, but for the goat meat...there is a huge market for it with all the Muslims that have immigrated to our country."
He came home and thanked me for pressuring him into pushing for our church to join in praying for Muslims...he really did not believe that it would ever affect him personally...but God had different plans and He chose to take him to Texas to see the reality of praying for Muslims here in the United States.
Thank you for raising the level of awareness, of our need to pray for all Muslims.
