30-Days of Prayer for the Muslim World Ramadan 2008 / 1429: September 01 - September 30
-- testimonies
"As I started praying I realized that one of the reasons I've had trouble in my business is due to an issue with a Moslem VP in my company. I think God used the fact that I was praying to help me see this issue..." Elaine
"The last day of ministry we saw a village chief pray with us and ask many questions. These were ALL Muslims. I pray that the follow up and Discipleship will continue." Jina
"We (my wife is the Secondary Principal) teach at an MK school in KZ. We used your material to pray as an entire Jr. HIgh/High School. Students fasted. We watched one of the testimony clips from 30 days in the assembly. Great to focus on others and not just our own world. Great also to pray about something that is real to us - Islam." Otto
"On the the last day we were in Cairo, we went back to the "City of the Dead". There are reports of upwards of millions of homeless people living here amongst the tombs. I had met "John Abraham" some weeks before and given him medical assistance, he has TB. I had also continued to pray for him throughout the 3 weeks. Today, one of the nurses came to me excited saying someone had prayed a prayer of salvation!! It was John Abraham. We talked to some local Christians and asked them to follow up with him..." Dr. Sue (edited for brevity)
"We are in Kyrgyzstan and have had lots of opportunity to talk to locals who are either practicing or non-practicing but aware of the implications of Ramadan. It was great for me to be reminded of the experience and implications in other parts of the world and to pray for the special circumstances surrounding those people groups." Tim
"Our church works with the Songhai people of Niger. We have adopted a 48 kilometer stretch of road where nearly 40,000 ± unreached Songhai live. The road is called the Road to Mehanna. God allowed us baptize the first believers on the road this March. They are going strong, but with much suffering and persecution." Marc
